🎨 .... ART. CLASS ..., πŸ–Ό

Re: 🎨 .... ART. CLASS ..., πŸ–Ό

It’s good to see you researching and learning @outlander ......

I have used the technique before, but not really intentionally .... lol .... it just worked to pick up several colours on the brush at once .....

This is not one of mine, but demonstrates what I mean.

Re: 🎨 .... ART. CLASS ..., πŸ–Ό

I come across it on one the fb pages im on. They had animals drawn from there words too like bee and then drawn a bee from that word. I gave that one ago but not this one yet @Faith-and-Hope

I think its really clever! You should have a go id love to see how you go with a flower or 2. They showed a pink and white flower. Pink as the centre but not sure of the kind. Looked good though or the blue one you have pictured here. It has what looks like 4 shades..

Re: 🎨 .... ART. CLASS ..., πŸ–Ό

The watercolour ones dont look like the one stroke style of painting? @Faith-and-Hope

Re: 🎨 .... ART. CLASS ..., πŸ–Ό

There is more than one shade or colour on the brush @outlander .... an$ the purple petals are a series of one-brush strokes, just soft and muted because it’s wstercolour.  The flamingo too is one trailing brush-stroke, but then it has been drawn into with ink to create more definition.  These are different uses of the one-brush technique.

I have depicted water movement before by loading my brush with a couple of different colours, and then rolling over and over as I made a long stroke.

Experiment ....

Lots of ideas! @Faith-and-Hope going into art overdrive!
I attempted a dream catcher today that was hard but speaking of the different textures lace would be an interesting material to try out too as a pattern

Re: 🎨 .... ART. CLASS ..., πŸ–Ό

I have painted with leaves before @outlander .... a bunch of loose leaves, like parsley .... flicking it against a canvas, loaded with a selection of lifferent greens.
