I was very influenced by SE Asian cuisine when I was 20 so my children were brought up on my Aussie adaptation of Thai, Malay and Indonesian food.  Mostly we eased them into it.  My ex loved hot curries so he wanted to test out kid's stomachs, I would only go as far as mild, and stopped buying chili sauce as I got heart burn from it during my pregnancies.  However I love the essential flavours and meals.

I also had great convo wih a Malay princess from one of my choirs.  She loved that I wore traditional fabrics from her country.  She encouraged me to convert to coconut milk powder rather than using a whole can as you can greatly reduce the quantity but have it regularly.

My last 2 months have been over the top busy artsitic and crazy with family stuff.  I need to get to bed and try and settle.
