Me too @Adge @Smc re Thai food.

We had a bad experience with the family one day though, where we ordered a dish that was described as medium hot, but it was much hotter than medium hot we had had anywhere else, so we asked to have a little extra coconut milk to cool it down for the younger kids, and they took offense .... refusing to give us the extra coconut milk, and effectively telling us off for having ordered something medium hot when it was obviously mild that we were after.

We ended up getting up and leaving the food there uneaten because it was too hot even for me, and I can stand fairly hot food.  We might have just re-ordered, but their lack of customer service was so off-putting it was upsetting.  Unfortunately that put the family off Thai food.

I love green Thai curry though, and will often order it - medium hot - whenever I find it on a menu.
