24 hour Carers Hotline Anyone?
Hello all,
As a person with lived experience, I'm keen to start the discussion on trying to set up a 24/7 hotline for carers. After reading the heart-breaking stories here, I'm sure there's a need for such a service if it doesn't already exist. If you could give me some further information, tips or your opinions, that'd be appreciated.
Thanks for your time.

Re: 24 hour Carers Hotline Anyone?
Hello @Faith_Hope_Love
There are a number of dedicated carer support lines available, some go through until 10pm. Some 24/7 services primarily directed for those with LE also cater for carers.

Thanks for the information. I'd like to start compiling a list of these services. Are you able to provide some links please?
Thanks again and have a great weekend!
Kindest regards,

Re: 24 hour Carers Hotline Anyone?
This is a good starting point @Faith_Hope_Love
https://www.carergateway.gov.au/find-a-service
Sane also list some services
https://www.sane.org/families-carers/35-what-support-is-available-for-carers
Googling "mental health support for carers" will bring up a number of services - some are state specific.
