Something’s not right

Re: My Mosaic

So glad to see you on here @Bow I might be selfish but I need your friendship on here.

I'm sorry your session was so hard. Exposure therapy is. Your psych must think you are ready for it.

Is there anything I can help you with tonight?

Re: My Mosaic

Really need a friend at the moment @Snowie to feel safe. I am so scared at the moment

Re: My Mosaic

@Bow ❤️ a few big ones recently. Like @Snowie said, your psych must see all the hard work you've put in and thinks you're ready.

After a big one, it's understandable that you're feeling raw. I know I do sometimes after big sessions too.

Is there something from your self-soothing list you can try out?

We're sitting with you ❤️

Re: My Mosaic

Just had me a shower and watching some tv. Going to crawl into bed soon @Snowie @TuxedoCat

Re: My Mosaic

Just watching some tv too @Bow

Will be heading to bed soon myself. Changed my sheets today. I love the feel of fresh sheets when I crawl into bed.

Re: My Mosaic

Oh I love fresh sheets too @Snowie

I’m watching home and away with mum. Will crawl into bed and watch survivor.

Re: My Mosaic

@Snowie and @Bow fresh sheets are one of the best feelings!

@Bow I hope the shower and TV time has been a good distraction ❤️

Re: My Mosaic

Unfortunately not @TuxedoCat things are very loud in my head tonight

Re: My Mosaic

oh @Bow I'm sorry they're so loud. How have you stayed safe with them being this loud before?

For me, I try to do some things to "get me in my body" like holding an ice-cube or drinking a warm cup of tea. Or some progressive muscle relaxation can help too. It doesns't totally stop things, but it can ease the intensity a bit for me.

I thought I'd share a few things in case you need them

❤️
