Hello @Historylover wishing you good luck for your mental health tribunal meeting. I had both MI and a disagreeable situation which psychiatrists contextualised as having delusions etc. I was on a depot for a couple of years but it sapped the vitality out of me. Every day I was exhausted. I just take the oral meds now, having tried to reduce the dosage but in the past my symptoms come back when I did. I was successful in my last tribunal meeting and have not seen a hospital in over 20 years. I wouldn't discuss anything regarding telepathy as they tend to see it as a symptom of psychosis. I just kept my tribunal meeting to the point with no room for ambiguity. The DSM has a wide drag net and they classify everything as MI according to that book. I used to detox and my previous shrink tried to land me a diagnosis with that. It wasn't excessive or over the top, just taking care of my earthly vehicle so I could enjoy life after years of being sick on the depot injection
