Re: Sunday Social Chat

@NightFury Lol I'm an ideas man.

Sparkies, not just wizards of the wires, but also the MacGyver of all trades!

I'll put my trumpet down now, sorry.

Re: Sunday Social Chat

Yes I am copying @tyme who can may be able to raise it to somebody to spread word among correct communities

The way you communicated [to Till23 dog] was perfect and all animals including us humans do find ways to live with deafness and blindness. You build such strong bonds when we can overcome any access communication issues.

I have found this forum so good. I just hope that NDIS will fund everyone with similar disabilities so everyone can access this and not feel so alone.

Re: Sunday Social Chat

Will the glue melt? @NightFury

All the best! I dont' know how you can fix it... @Glisten  is handy. Maybe they will know.

Re: Sunday Social Chat

@tymeif @NightFury uses a good epoxy adhesive, like araldite it should be fine, especially if it's just on the timber as only the metal part would be super hot in use.

Re: Sunday Social Chat

@tyme I don't know. I thought the same, but I have to fix it. It's a rental property.

Totally agree. I've run training sessions on communication - to support people to allow ALL to access the right to communication. It's a basic human right.

I am a strong advocate for this.

I know someone who is blind but can build tables, cubbies, fix things... he is sooo handy. He built an entire kitchen - the carpentry behind it... the only thing different he uses is a talking tape measure.
