Re: Saturday Soiree - all welcome!!

It's really nice that you keep in contact with them @Shaz51 .  Have fun xx

Re: Saturday Soiree - all welcome!!

Yummm, and happy Saturday all.🤗

Re: Saturday Soiree - all welcome!!

Hi @Shaz51

Yum, that's quite a Platter of Fruit you have there...

I has Fasting blood tests this morning (no Breakfast) - left me dizzy, woozy & extra tired, for the rest of today.

That always happens, that's why I don't like getting those Fasting blood tests.

Minor surgery on Thursday (GP) could not get internal stitches out.

So it was just a "Trim & Tummy Tuck" instead (just kidding).

Dr had to stich hole closed, so I am still sore.

Freshly ground coffee start to the day. Then felt  distressed and had a NDIS worker come over. Felt better this arvo after a nap. Then lots of Bass practice. Hard to be distressed when I'm focused on practice. 😊 yummy scales, delicious progressions and arpeggios. 🤤

Not the feast for everyone! It's exciting for me as I'm a beginner. Well, nearly an intermediate player according to a YouTube instruction video. 🤔

Re: Saturday Soiree - all welcome!!

Hi @Adge   I was always concerned when you mentioned those remaining stitches - sorry to hear the dr couldn't get them all out.  How awful to have to have surgery to remedy effects of surgery.  Hope you recover soon.

Hey @WriterMelb  great that you're enjoying your musical adventure and that it's helping you feel better.

Hi @Libra  we haven't met.  Welcome to the forums if you're new.

Wondering why today has been the quietest Saturday since I started this thread last June.  Maybe it's quiet all over the forums today.  That's actually what gave me the idea for this one in the first place.

Hope today has been kind to all and that the evening is a peaceful one.

Re: Saturday Soiree - all welcome!!

Hi @eth Thanks.

This was a minor procedure - just disappointing that there was no solution offered.

It is a small improvement, at least internal stitch is not sticking through (spiking me) anymore.

Yet it's still in there (underneath)

Yet it's not an actual remedy (didn't solve) for what was not supposed to happen, in the first place.

So it's got me down - even though I did take positive action in terms of "self-care".

How is your Water Tai Chi going?

Re: Saturday Soiree - all welcome!!

it's been quiet all week seems @eth  dunno, just no energy in my case

Re: Saturday Soiree - all welcome!!

Not a  lot here either @TAB

@Adge  I only went twice since returning from my trip.  Our regular teacher has been away but should be back this week I think.  The other one jokes about not knowing all the moves and I don't get much out of his classes except to laugh with him when he stuffs up.  With him, not at him of course.  Looking forward to getting back into my twice weekly routine.  I really miss it when I don't do it.  Have had a bit of a practice by myself a few times but it's just not the same as doing it in the heated pool.
