I would have responded earlier, @outlander but i'd logged off earlier and only just got back on.

I think you did a great job. Sometimes it's good to talk to someone with experience, but it's just as important to talk to someone who is listening to you. And you did that with a lot of compassion. Remember, if ever in doubt about someones safety, you can ask a moderator to step in. And it looks like that has happened now.
