Worry Room - Get it out, and walk away: No responses please

Re: Worry Room - Get it out, and walk away

Thank you @utopia .... rest well ... 💕

Yes, @PeppiPatty .... it sounds like she does need professional help, but the professionals can only help when we turn to them, and that takes an act of will .... sometimes we can draw courage from others and how they make their wilful choices.  I wish her well.

You are a joy @PeppiPatty .... I hope you get to organise your art materials soon,  I look forward to seeing your new work.

💗💕

It must be such a WORRY for you @utopia. For my husband...  a very long term drinker....

Dont know if you agree but I always feel it's that change in the air, a wink from a night light that catches the poor afflicted alcoholic to realize that they can change, not alcoholics anomonous.....

Re: Worry Room - Get it out, and walk away

@PeppiPatty. Yes. I think they need to see a glimmer of hope - of possibilities beyond alcohol - then they can make the decision to stop. Once they make that decision, then they need to find the right help and support for them to achieve it. And they need reminders of why they are quitting, when they start to doubt their strength.
Hopefully my best friend will go back and see her counselor and get the help she needs. She has done it before. She can do it again.
Your husband is lucky to have your support.

Re: Worry Room - Get it out, and walk away

@Zoe7. Good morning.
Did you manage to get some sleep last night?
How are you doing this morning?
Do you have any plans for today?

Re: Worry Room - Get it out, and walk away

F*ck the pretty people
F*ck the people with charmed childhoods
F*ck my parents
F*ck pedophiles
F*ck my siblings
F*ck people who's life is so easy
F*ck trying to get better
F*ck having to spend half of what I earn on mental health care
F*ck not having a partner and kids
F*ck the fact that I probably never will
F*ck that I have no idea how to do my job
F*ck my other health concerns
It's not f*cking fair and other people have no idea how easy they have it.

Just F*ck it all today.

Re: Worry Room - Get it out, and walk away

@Former-Member.
I hear you. Scream it all out. It's not fair that this has all happened to you. F*ck.
I am here. I am holding you tight and supporting you.
Scream and get it all out.
