Hi everyone
Sorry I didnt reply sooner, was supposed to being working Friday as we break up this Thursday and I have 2 pays to get done BUT my boss decided it wasnt required last minute so instead I'm here at 7am working!
Terrible day for work, one of the supervisors who is much liked had a car accident Friday night and has broken his neck and extensive spinal injuries - his wife is due for their first baby in 3 months, he's only 38 and he was finishing building their new home. At the moment he is numb from the chest down - could be from swelling but not great he could be paralysed for life!
Do will be a challenging week.

Well they have no soul I'm sure of that now. They have said some horrible things about the employee who is in hospital - I wont post them as they may trigger.
Well I'm just laughing as with everything going on being last few days before we close up on Thursday she is hell bent on making me very stressed with doing things last minute. She always leaves everything till the last minute especailly if she doesnt have to do it. So she gets the maintencance guy the one they abused to do the shopping for her (mostly company items but also for her) nd she has arranged this for Thursday morning. She doesnt get in till about 10.30am and then he will go shopping so I have to wait until he gets back (between 11.00 and 11.30) for her to give me receipts to do staff reimbursements which take about an hour to do. My logical thinking says it would be better to do this the day before so staff arent stressed in getting things done but noooooooooooooooo!
But hey thats fine, if she wants to play these stupid games I will just work instead of having lunch with everyone else - which I would prefer to do anyway! But I'm going to make sure that I have a big smile plastered on my face from now till then - just to piss her off!
I'm sure it will be reflected in my performance review as she doesnt believe in giving positive ones.
Boy I actually pity her now, just think how miserable her life must be if the only she can make herself happy is to stress and hurt others - what a pathetic excuse for a human being. I have lost all respect for them both and find it doesnt bother me as much now - I just think how stupid to cause unnecessary drama in people's lives - just for their own entertainment.

Its great that you have clarity on how to manage your workplace's difficult culture. Tragic that such serious injuries of your colleague was not respected. Glad you can sort out the problem is that particular boss in the workplace and not you.

Hopefully I wont need to use this thread any more.
I have kept calm a lot lately and realising more and more, the survival of this place and the employees are not my responsibility if the owners dont want to do the right thing - I will not bash my head against a brick wall anymore and get myself stressed out for their stupid & sometimes unfair decisions. If I have to carry out things which I dont agree with so be it as long as its not breaking any regulations, if it is I will advise them and if they still want me to carry out I will make notes to cover my butt so to speak.
I have more important things to worry about like my mental health and that will come first!
I know my performance review is coming up so I will just have to get thick skinned about it and not take it personally as i know it wont be "pleasant" they never give really good feedback which is so wrong as they feel it makes the employee too confident and they will stuff up.
But if they really really piss me off I will vent on here if it helps me.
Here hoping for a better 2017!

Dear @Change123
I'm really proud of you. You remind me of when Princess Diana ( rest her soul) went on TV got intervied by Andrew Moreton and very wrongly complained about the stressful situation about royalty. You have been safe by being on here, you didnt go crazy on speech. You contained yourself.
Good on YOU @Change123
