Hope that a rest rejuvenates you @MDT.

Re: My Story and where to from here.. (very personal)

Hey @MDT

Sorry you had a dive in your mood.  The truth is that you are doing a lot of work and it takes your energy, and then to top it off with social and dating stuff.  Its mammoth.

I am a lot older and I still deal with socialising and dating stuff with a lot of caution. Like not for years ...ha ha .. I am not totally off it. It is important to have some openness, otherwise opportunities will pass us by.

You are right though.  Learning about how we tick in gender, and opposite sex things is huge.

Take Care

Hey all @Appleblossom @Zoe7 @eudemonism @TAB @soul @utopia @Shaz51 @outlander

I had a 2 hour nap. Deep sleep too. I think I lucid dreamed again. Helped a lot.

I think I know what to do.

Re: My Story and where to from here.. (very personal)

I think a big thing effecting dating and relationships for me personally is the role that a job/employment and my career play. Who knows, maybe it will be easier when I'm overseas lol. Because I am chasing a goal and it's something I care about.

I think also I just need to finalise the work situation for the EU and that's all. That's all that is required. Everything is sorted it seems.

Should try and refocus my sleep arrangements again too maybe. Trying to go to bed at a good time so that I have enough energy for the day ahead. Means taking my meds at the right time too

Re: My Story and where to from here.. (very personal)

Going with balance and taking meds regularly will give you stability, good insight and help in your career and trip.  People will come and go. SOme will be great and resonate, others not so. Gradually you will accept the ebb and flow of feelings.

Cant avoid the hugeness of dating implications for our future life, When you finally get that girl. She will be a lucky one.

Glad that you were able to sleep and refresh yourself @MDT. Feeling tired and listless messes with our minds.

Maybe best to focus on just a couple of things in your life rather than fix them all at once. Sometimes getting some bits in order results in others falling into place.

Agree with @Appleblossom - you have a lot to offer to a potential partner. Don’t sell yourself short. First love yourself, then you will have plenty to give to others.

Take it easy mate @MDT my first time Kings Cross ok at 17 in Army was a bit hard to avoid re peer pressure

Re: My Story and where to from here.. (very personal)

@MDTGlad that you were able to sleep and refresh yourself Heart

Re: My Story and where to from here.. (very personal)

Well I've officially finished my degree. Got an email today telling me. But I won't be attending the graduation ceremony as I will already be overseas - chasing a career I hope.

I think that it is a fair trade off really. It's the best reason to miss out on a ceremony. Which I've heard is also boring lol.

As I have been focusing on, the trick is the work visa. And that is like extracting teeth from people - because Polish employers are either too busy or lazy to want to sign off on a bit of paper that they are happy to employ me.

Life is a funny old thing methinks. Hopefully in time things will improve with this EU thing. Onwards and upwards

Sounds good @MDT perhaps say attending graduation anyway then can still get ceremony stuff?
Persist/try to shake visa thing up maybe
