A long rave

Re: A long rave

@outlander, I know the feeling of running from pain, and the apparent futility of it, though distractions are helpful, especially ones that really interest us. I don't have many plans for today either: shower, washing, going for walk, maybe a few other things. A quiet day. I'm not too bad this morning, just struggling with my usual morning difficulties with getting going in the day. Hope things get much better for you today, lil sis. Heart

Re: A long rave

unfortuantley we cant run away from ourselves can we @Mazarita it would be good if we could though

just the usual things then hey, sometimes the routine is what keeps us going.

i hope the rest of your day is good for you too Sis

give me a shout if you need anything Heart

Re: A long rave

@outlander, in some ways, I find it the most difficult 'marriage', being together with myself over my life. Some degree of routine does seem to be good. And anything we can do to nurture, be kind to ourselves, and enjoy ourselves, even if only in moments. Hugs to you! Heart

Re: A long rave

It is lovely to drop into this chat re Greek goddesses and floral fragrances. @eth @Mazarita

Hi @outlander and @CheerBear and anybody else reading this thread.  You made me smile with the "running away from self" problem.

My car broke down last night and I was over 2 hours in the car park.  Today I have organised car to mechanics. Ho hum.  Hope it does not cost an arm and a leg.

Home for a quiet night was going to city tomorrow for lunch and coffee.

Re: A long rave

Good morning @Mazarita @Appleblossom @CheerBear @outlander  anyone else here.

Broke my own records with 11 hours sleep in the last 24.  I needed to catch up and it seems I am starting to do so.  Proof that the hypomania has passed at last.

Re: A long rave

Good morning, @eth, wow, that's good going on the sleep for you. I had a big one too. Went to bed about 11.30, woke for about half an hour twice and only just woke up for the last time at 11am. Feels good to be well rested, really glad to hear you are too. Smiley Happy

Re: A long rave

Hey @Mazarita  I had a similar night except from 7.30 pm til 6 am, and 1 1/2 hours in the afternoon.

You might be amused to hear I based my monologue on Narcissus and used my mother as the voice!!

Do you have plans for today?

I'm working through information that's come thru' from White Eagle, planning to do some more writing and gardening and cooking later.  Breaking up the study with periods of grounding myself outside.  It's a gorgeous clear and warm day here.

Re: A long rave

Hi @Appleblossom, missed your post on my last reply. Hope you've had some good news with the car and that it is not too expensive. Perhaps you'll be able to get out today even without the car, even if just for a walk or time in the garden.

@eth, sounds like another relaxedly productive day planned for you. I will be jumping in the shower soon and then heading off to my psychologist appointment today. Looking forward to it. Glad you have settled on a myth to work on for your project. I'm only familiar with the broad outlines of the Narcissus story. Hope you have a good day as it unfolds.

Re: A long rave

Hoping your day goes well too @Mazarita

@Appleblossom hope there is a quick solution for your car that's not too expensive.

Re: A long rave

Morning @eth@Mazarita@Appleblossom @outlander@CheerBear. and other ravers 😜

It must be the day to sleep. I just managed about 10 hours in a catch up sleep too. It sounds like you all have good plans for today. I smiled at the narcissus monologue @eth

At the moment it feel like I just need to breathe and get back into some kind of routine after a really rough week last week. The sun is shining here so that is helping my mood. I think I'll go have a coffee and sit in that sunshine while I can. Tomorrow is meant to be horrid weather here.

@Appleblossom I hope your car issue isn't too bad. I hate that cars break down. I feel so lost without mine.

good luck with the psychologist @Mazarita

Hugs to you all 💜🤗💐
