Poll results - The community's favourite ways to relax

Every wondered what other carers do to relax?

Well, our poll results revealed that exercise and hobbies were the most favourite with each receiving 37% of the votes. Next was music and socialising with each receiving 13% of the votes.

What are your thoughts on this? Got any particular type of exercise or hobbies that you like? Or maybe like to do something that's not heard of every day? I'd love to know.

Re: Poll results - The community's favourite ways to relax

I enjoy dancing, but in particular pole dancing. I have a pole at home and I am re-enrolling in classes in the next month or so. It's a great stress relief and I get a huge sense of accomplishment when I successfully pull off a move. It was also something that fixed a back injury I had; pole dancing strengthened my core muscles enough that my injury resolved itself.

Wow, sounds like pole dancing has done many wonderful things for both your physical and emotional well-being.

Can I ask what's your favourite move/trick?

Re: Poll results - The community's favourite ways to relax

I honestly suck at remembering the names of moves! But my favourite dancers are Felix Cane and Jenyne Butterfly. Jenyne incorporates contemporary dance in some of her performances, very beautiful.
