Now that my mouth's not numb from my visit to the dentist, I'd like one of those cold coffee drinks with ice (I've heard someone call them dirty coffees).

And just a gossipy magazine would be fantastic!  Not to mention a comfy seat.

@Adge. My power went out last night 7pm til 11.11pm. Heat wave and storm. We rely on our needs for electricity more than we realise.
@PeppiPatty - sorry I missed the cafe and chat.Next ttime I'll definitely come.

Yes we do rely on electricity more than we realise @utopia It really threw me out.

The ridiculous thing is that I would be independent with electricity - Dad bought me a solar power system (panels), before he died last year, to try to look after me (or help).

Yet the solar system shuts off when there is a blackout...

The Electricity Grid really missed out, whilst we were blacked out - because my solar panels send them (into the Grid) more than twice as much as I use (every day)...

@Adge. I've always wanted solar panels but haven't got any yet - because I want the powerI generate to stay on my pproperty and stored in a battery bank. Otherwise it doesn't help in a blackout.
