Re: My Mosaic

yep still here @Snowie  sitting on the couch.

im tired too.

i seen my pdoc this morning. He asked lots of questions. He said it was good I was trying to reduce something. Was hoping he would try address my constant tiredness but no. Nothing. No changes.

got to talk to my SW about what happened yesterday. She said I could give them some feedback instead of a complaint.

tried again today to call the hospital admissions and bookings about my colonoscopy waitlist but it just kept ringing out.

did some work downstairs too. And played with kittens.

Re: My Mosaic

Hellooooo @Bow!

How are you feeling today?

Gosh, that really would be hard on both of them. It sounds like your friend is being honest and taking accountability, which is positive to hear. Even so, it would be hard to manage everything without her person. I am sure he is just as overwhelmed as her too...😔

I understand what that's like... I wonder if there's an underlying need that isn't being met right now?

Gah, that is frustrating... do you see any of your other supports this week?

The markets sound fun, I am glad you're making time for your passions. What are you selling this weekend?

Also, how is your scrapbooking going?

Today has been good. I went to pilates and then visited a local market for a crepe. 😋

Now I am working (and snacking) with @Ru-bee 🥰

Re: My Mosaic

On the couch now too @Bow

Hanging out for bed.

Maybe some feedback might help

Shame you couldn't leave a message at least.

Well done for getting downstairs hon. I know how hard just getting off the couch can be.

Some kitten cuddles would help

Re: My Mosaic

Hi @AuntGlow 👋

im still tired. And at the moment really thirsty. Need to get up and make myself a drink.

I don’t know what could be going on. I’ve even reduced some of my night meds. And I notice a huge difference during the next day to my energy levels, even though when I don’t take it I’m still tired just not as much. My low intake wouldn’t help either but that’s been an ongoing issue and my energy levels being so low all the time is a new thing. I’m even on a stimulant for my treatment resistant depression and even that doesn’t give me as much as a boost like it use to.

just my SW. I’ll probably see her tomorrow. Although I really need a day at home before the busy weekend. So I may cancel my visit with her tomorrow.

I have all my usual pieces of art work for market. And then I have a heap of Christmas pieces. Some end of year teacher gifts. And I also have been working on some calendars which I love.  I really need more table space! I have one table for market and I have 2 shelving units back to back. I’ll see if I can find a photo.

I haven’t been doing much scrapbooking unfortunately. I’m hoping it’s just cause I’ve been focusing on market stock. Cause I’ve got so much scrapbooking stuff!

hmmm yumm crepes! I had a really nice Nutella and strawberry and banana crepe in Paris and of my gosh so yummy!

I treat myself to breakfast at the market on Saturday morning. Saves time not having to get up extra early to fit breakfast in. 5:30am is early enough.! But I have mini Dutch pancakes with strawberries and banana and Nutella. Something to look forward to after setting up.

are you in Melbourne? Do you go to the queen Victoria markets??

Re: My Mosaic

I’m just watching tv now @Snowie  but I need to get up to go to the loo!

Re: My Mosaic

OOoooo @Bow ! Loving the photos! I hope I have disturbed you from going to bed, but I was so in awe with your creations!

I've been to Queen Vic markets maybe twice in my life?

You don't go to markets like Sydney's Paddy's market, right? You go to more the little markets? Sorry, I don't even know what to call them. I can 'see' these markets in my head, but I don't know how to describe them!

Re: My Mosaic

Hey @tyme

ive been down cleaning out the kitten enclosure, they had made a huge mess, walked it through the enclosure and all their bedding and I had to give one a bit of a bath! Stinking little cuties!

I’ve been to paddy’s markets a few times. The majority of them are cheap Asian import and lots of repeats. We do handmade artisan markets. A high % of what you sell has to be handmade/ homegrown.

I go to the queen vic markets whenever I’m in Melbourne. Been a fair few times.

Re: My Mosaic

This is what our markets are like @tyme

 rows and rows like this.

Re: My Mosaic

Did you end up getting a drink? I always forget to drink water and then get headachey. @Bow 😅

Hmm, that would be tough not having answers... do you keep an energy journal?

Let me know how you go. I am wondering if some gentle activity with your SW could be helpful?

They are soooo pretty!! I love the "I am not crazy" piece. That's perfect. 😍

I can imagine sales would ramp up at Christmas time?

You should sell some of your scrapbooking pages in some frames!!

Oh my gosh stop, that will be my next one. I will take a photo and show you if I get one.

That sounds really, really yum. Market breakfasts are always so wholesome.

I haven't been to Vic Market in aaaages. Last time I was there was probably the Night Market last year!

Re: My Mosaic

Yes! Your photo is like what I imagined, except a bit smaller. It looks like it's a pretty big market. So you're saying it has rows and aisle to walk down? @Bow

But yeah, I prefer the markets you are sharing than the paddy's market where everything is cheaply imported in plastic.....
