Sorry @Bow had to feed everyone and clean up.
I'm glad they were there for you when you needed them, but it's sad they travel a lot now. I know things change but having someone to talk to can help so much. It's a shame you don't have that relationship still.
Yea, rough day today. Did something I shouldn't have.

What did you guys have for dinner @Snowie ? We had ikea meatballs, mash and salad. And then we had some ice cream cake.
Yeah I really miss that connection with them. I really miss the church they built and the close family connections that was there. When they stepped down it all very quickly died down. I bumped into an old friend over the weekend who use to go to our church many many years ago. She asked me how church was and I said well I haven’t been for a very long time. She said that she missed the old days. I said yep me too. Just not the same. It was such an amazing community @Snowie everyone knew everyone. Everyone was real and wasn’t afraid to show it. You always had someone in your house. Sharing a meal. Sharing life. Anyways won’t dwell on the past.
My friend does always make the effort to see me when they are home though…. I just usually never know when that is!!
I just went and fed mumma cat, she was hungry! She is a bit skinny. So will have to fatten her up. I have to weigh the babies every day. Make sure they are gaining . The vet weighed them today, all were 300gms.
our dog has gone crazy! She knows they are there, but keeping the door closed. They have to be isolated for 2wks to make sure they don’t have any bugs etc. but the dog scratches the paint off the door when we locked her upstairs. I’ve now put her crate up against the door so she can’t scratch at that door downstairs but she gets up on top of the crate and will lay there and whimper and just wait! Crazy dog! She did eventually quit it with the other kittens we had, but it took a while.
im sorry you had a rough day 😞 and things happened. Hope you’re safe hon?
you have much on for tomorrow?

We had a chicken curry and rice for tea @Bow I put it in the slow cooker this morning so it was ready for dinner. I like the slow cooker. Put it on in the morning and then forget about it!
It's a shame you don't have that same community within your church. Having people to turn to and talk to must have helped. I wish you still had that. It's nice that your friend always makes an effort to see you when she is in town.
Hopefully your dog settles down soon and gets used to having the cat/kittens. As you said they did last time so hoping it doesn't take long. It seems like you have to keep thorough notes/records on them.
Sort of.
Nothing on tomorrow. Took mum out today so hoping tomorrow can be a quiet day.
Emailed pdoc. He's squeezed me in on Wed for another apt. Just a phone one but better than nothing.
Have you got anything planned for tomorrow?

Glad your pdoc can see you Wednesday @Snowie and I hope you can have a quiet day tomorrow.
ive got a quiet day too. Hopefully. D is back to school. My SW may come and visit. She was away today and would have usually done a home visit, so she might do that tomorrow. Other than that, I just wanna do a few things around the house. Clean up and tidy a few things up. I’ve got a curtain to put up too.

I'm sure there are lots of kids that walk to school.
He'll have 6 exams all up. By the time he has them he should have his license too, so can drive himself.

Hey @Snowie I got a little bit done. My SW came by. Didn’t talk too much about anything helpful though. Cats and cruises. I got a couple of things done that I wanted. And spent time with the kittens and then spent a lot of time just sitting on the couch staring
feeling stuck this arvo

I can understand just sitting on the couch staring @Bow
Shame you couldn't talk to your SW about what's happening.
Did D walk to school?
Sorry you feel stuck. Need to talk?
