Re: The Weekly Friday Feast

Hello @NikNik, we had hamburgers for dinner tonight

Hi @Appleblossom, yes my hubby did that today , went on and on , working away like nothing could stop him -- tonight he is satisfied

Re: The Weekly Friday Feast

Hi @Shaz51 Great to see you here tonight! Burgers sound good... hmmmm maybe tomorrow night for me!

Re: The Weekly Friday Feast

Maccas for dinner tonight. Nothing really exciting.

I'm a bit down tonight, still feeling exhausted like I've been hit by a bus.  I don't think I have recovered from being in hospital almost 2 weeks ago.

Re: The Weekly Friday Feast

Hey its good to see you @Shaz51 its better that than he was rolling dice and gambling the family funds away.

I am so good at figuring out new diagnosis for me and my traits .. I thought I a had "perservation disorder" .. usually associated with Brain injury.. just means I get a bit intense and focussed at times. Trying to lighten up on the self analysis.

Great to see you @Crazy_Bug_Lady  Are you doing ok?

Its good the way peppi tags others to join in.

For me these were my first dinner parties where I could be true to myself warts and all.  Thank you guys and gals.

Re: The Weekly Friday Feast

Re: The Weekly Friday Feast

I agree : @Appleblossom

Re: The Weekly Friday Feast

Hi @Former-Member, takeaway night tonight , I still have some easter eggs -- will i eat them or not ????

Re: The Weekly Friday Feast

Hi Guys,

I have been so busy these last few weeks with shows and prepping, and a full-time job. I actually had the whole Easter weekend off work (except for Sunday at the farm), so that was a nice chance to try and relax and catch up on cleaning.

I've been feeling very "level" emotionally for the last month or so, which has been interesting. It's like catching a glimpse into a neurotypical's life! Woman LOL Woman LOL But something's shifed the last week or so and I am feeling a bit of the BPD high's and lows. Nothing severe, but enough that I have to work on the emotions to keep them in check. I know that it seems odd, but I am almost glad for it.

Two shows down, one more tomorrow. Then a break (from shows) till a youth show in June. I think I have been roped into being a "mature adult/guardian" and potentially staying on grounds and helping the 9 year-old that is (hopefully) taking Killi.

I know I say it over and over, but she constantly amazes me with how well-behaved she is!! At the last show I left to go to the loo, and I came back to a family patting her and a toddler hugging Killi's head!! Remeber, this isn't a petting zoo, and a lot of the animals at these shows are half-trained and at the show for experience, so that sort of thing could easily go wrong...
