Re: 365 Project

@Former-Member Sorry about the events of your day. It's great you can find something to be grateful for as well. 🙂

Today I stayed inside alone day and night, only left the flat to check the mail. The TV and radio kept me company on and off. I managed to get a whole bunch of domestic tasks done - rental flat inspection very soon. Did leg stretching and exercise bike. Ate tuna on toast for dinner. In the past housing has sometimes been a bit hairy so today I'm grateful that for now I live in a nice little flat in a place I like.

Re: 365 Project

I agree @Mazarita.  Sounds Cosy. I am glad I have a place I like too.

Re: 365 Project

I might be a little bit strange, but I really felt sorry for Tony Abbott last night, as he walked out of meeting and tried to force a smile. He'd just being rejected and betrayed by his colleagues in a very public way. I can't even handle that in small private settings. I also find it horrible how people are cheering about his public humiliation today. What world do we live in?

I'll have to try a bit harder to think of something I'm thankful for today....

Re: 365 Project

yes I agree with you both can you imagine what would happen to kids in school if they did this type of bullying! I did feel sorry Abbott today and last night too, as I did for Rudd and Gillard as well.

But my thing to be thankful for tonight is cooking smoething that all three of us liked wowsers! A chicken stirfry with greens and noodles. Healthy to boot! My mister stubborn picked out all the vegies.. but he still ate some of the chicken and all the noodles 😄 so a win! My lil girl is a great vegie/fruit eater! She's always in the fridge getting a carrot or cucumber out to munch on... (i think she's part rabbit!) and she eats enough vegies and fruits for my little boy too LOL one day hopefully he'll eat some.. but he's still growing lol!

Re: 365 Project

Sorry I cant feel sorry for Abbott ...thats one boundary and I can feel sorry for almost everyone ...  he has been so intense in his attacks on others ... he was an embarrassment to many catholics ... and the whole Australian people. He had it coming. Malcolm is usually more of a gentleman and balanced ... though I am sure things will come out about him too ... thats realpolitik.  I am a swinging voter.

So thats another thing I am grateful for today. Abbot's out.

Re: 365 Project

I had to sign up to the "feed the man meat" diet for a couple decades before my son got the vegie thing ... its a bit of a boy thing sometimes @Former-Member... today we planned a vegan meal for his birthday cos his girlfriend is coming ... just gently persist and be creative.
