365 Project

Re: 365 Project

@PeppiPatty Somehow the video you asked me to post for you last night has disappeared from the thread. Cat Surprised

Here it is again....

https://youtu.be/8HYLyuJZKno

I noticed it's audio only, @PeppiPatty, an actual guided meditation. Is this the video you wanted me to post or was it one of his others?

By observing thoughts and sensations without judgment, you can develop a deep sense of inner calm and clarity, returning to the breath as a steady anchor in each moment. Experience the power of mindfulness with this guided meditation by Jon Kabat-Zinn, PhD. This excerpt from his Guided Mindfulness

Re: 365 Project

Hi @Mazarita

Thanks for doing that. I just drove into Margaret River and bought my son a metal thing that will hold his mobile still while he takes selfies.

I am grateful today I have worked out how to post one of my artwork online.

The audio that I really want to post is a Jon Kabat Zinn audio called "Wherever you go, There You are,' which is wonderful and I will get my youngest son to show me how to do it tomorrow.

The audio helped me through my very darkest days last year.

This is a picture I did that I  sucessfully blanked my name out. the poem says;

: The wind blows hard against my body

Emotions match the wild sea

I swear

Stretch my arms up high

Step forward

I will never stay still

One I was tethered

Now I am free

@PeppiPatty The picture hasn't come through on the forum, looking forward to seeing it. The poem is beautiful. Heart

Re: 365 Project

Today I am very gratrful for talking to @Mazarita

I need support and she has kickstarted my need to go to group therapy in Arafmi.

Another try of the photo......

Weird.....my best artwork was done in absolute grief and stress

Re: 365 Project

Thankyou, @PeppiPatty. I'm glad to be talking with you today too. Cat Very Happy

Today I am also especially grateful for my peer mentor. She is so smart, inspiring, interesting and kind. She took me out to a group meditation today. We will be going again together next week too, and soon after that I plan to be going regularly on my own. The session involved guided breath meditations, chanted meditation, meditative music and singing. My mentor will only be with me for the next few weeks and in the new year I will be starting again with someone new. I'm just making the most of my time with this lovely woman who is already helping me step further out of my shell.

Re: 365 Project

Today I am grateful for my pharmacist. I just needed statins and blood pressure tabs today, but they realised I was over the edge a couple of months ago ... and are still kind to me ...

Re: 365 Project

Dear @Appleblossom @Mazarita and @Jacquesmail-1.png

Has my picture come out yet?

Thankyou for the kind messages.

Maritza, thankyou for helping me realise I need support with my hub and will be contacting Arafmi when we get back to where I live.

I have sent an email to the moderators crying I have no dies why I cant seem to post my picture.

Maritza, you are really walking toward new living. Is your mentor a Support person, like what @WombatBoots does?

Re: 365 Project

Anne you need to wait with the pictures, the moderators need to approve it, this can sometimes take up to an hour. try to be patient.

Re: 365 Project

Thanks @Jacques
