Re: The Walking for Wellbeing Thread

😶 lol @Former-Member can't remember the last time someone thought I was cute but thank you ...  my former boss likened me to a bowling ball with prickles, dont know if that fits your definition of cute?

Understand the sentiments about anxiety depression at the moment 😞

Trust you can find some balance in that regard as I am seeking to.

Re: The Walking for Wellbeing Thread

Thanks @Determined.🛀

Re: The Walking for Wellbeing Thread

Walking trail sounds good @Determined - much nicer than walking in the burbs like I do. When I used to visit my daughter in the sharehouse she was in, there was a lovely bush trail. The dog loved stalking the bush turkeys and lizards.

@Former-Member - keep walking. I do tend to walk a lot when I am feeling anxious and it helps.

Today it was raining for some of the day and tonight I went out so not as much walking. Clocked up 11 842 steps - nearly 9kms.

Re: The Walking for Wellbeing Thread

I walked up & down a very long train station today.  Burning off energy maybe 10 laps??

Keep taking that next step.

Re: The Walking for Wellbeing Thread

1000 steps for me this overcast day with intermittent rain. I only left the flat to visit a friend around the corner, and she picked me up in her car for that. It's been a relatively good day and I got through some chores I have been putting off. Always impressed by the efforts of others in here. Smiley Happy

Re: The Walking for Wellbeing Thread

Have to keep walking @soul,only thing keeping me alive at the moment, don't know if that's a good thing or not.Did 13-14 kms yesterday.I feel better in the body, week five is nearly over of cutting down on chocolate,my cortisol  gut is down,my legs are more muscle and I feel more comfortable in clothes.I feel a bit of the old me.The only good thing about the anxiety level past fortnight is the stress factor gave me adrenaline.

Re: The Walking for Wellbeing Thread

Good that you are reaping the benefits of walking @Former-Member.

Re: The Walking for Wellbeing Thread

Wtg @Former-Member .... 💕

Re: The Walking for Wellbeing Thread

My goal for today is > 5000 steps

Tally so far is 1500 with quite a few stair climbs in that. (Friday is usually my active day with room to room work requirements)

Feeling confident 🙂
