I hope Middle is enjoying the time away at camp @CheerBear and it is great for you to be able to spend some time with the other 2 LF. Couch and hot chocolate in your jammies sounds like a wonderful way to spend the afternoon. I am not far off getting in my jammies too
My GP definitely knows me well and I take her word for it that I am not looking overly tired or flat - that is at least a good thing ...fake it to you make it hey! I am very mindful of putting on that mask - especially at work - and trying to get through the days with at least a smile. I am hoping that I can get up and moving early tomorrow and that I make it through the day okay without some of those 'questioning myself' feelings. Thursdays are usually hard days as I go to a different class every 40 minutes but it does often make the day go quicker. I also have 40 minutes off to do some planning myself in the afternoon and there is some work I need to do for one of our reading programs that I will do in that time - need to get that prepared tonight though.
For now just resting and chillin' out until baby feeding time at 5pm then I will try to get work stuff done and settle in for the evening. Will be another early night for me though I think.

There is no doubt it is a hard job we do @CheerBear but so is raising kids, especially on your own - that I could not do
I have done a little of the planning for tomorrow - I at least have my little girl I have for reading organised. Next is the planning for my maths boys. They are quite capable when it is one on one but get a bit lost in the whole class stuff. They can become disruptive in the classroom but most of that is a lack of confidence - no surprise I quite like both of the boys
My favourite kid in the 4/5 was suspended last week for his behaviour so I haven't seen him this week yet. I'll make sure to stop by and see him tomorrow (and hope he is in a better mood ) He has been diagnosed with ODD so connections he makes to people are super important.
I'm sure Middle is having a great time and enjoying their adventure. It is a big thing for some kids to go away on camp but going on how much Middle wanted to pack it seemed like they really wanted to go - that is half the battle won already.
It is getting really cold here at night - heater weather - so snuggles tonight are definitely on the cards. I already have the doona (and Toby) over my legs - just watching the news before I get started on the rest of the planning.

Just checking in.
@CheerBear (hopefully bear of cheer still) I have a strange question to ask. How to you chose colour palettes for your projects? Has it been a learned or natural thing for you?
Im biding time until I have that invasive womens test which I’ve not had for 13 years 😱, it’s in a few hours. My GP is making me put my big girl pants on for. Not had a mammogram yet either cos of body shame issues, and being a h cup I’m kind of petrified of that too and being judged for it. Whinge one over. It’s not what I fell into the dark destructive hole for last night. Pretty sure you would have guessed it’s from my psych appointment :face_with_rolling_eyes:😳.
