Re: Stories of recovery, hope and promises for the future inspired by Mind consumers in residential services

My Story by a consumer of a Peer Recovery Community at Mind:

Recovery has been a long drawn out thing for me.

When I look back on my past experience at the Peer recovery Community I have found out a lot about psychology and the mind and how it functions.

When the day comes for me to leave I know I'll be ready to move on to the next chapter in my life.

My time with the staff at PRC has been beneficial and rewarding.

"Whilst I live, I love,

When I leave, I know sadness,

Before I move on I reflect,

And if I cry, I'll know that my time is done,

While naive, I see this time is not a loss,

As love only knows boundless harmony on the road ahead"

Thank you for sharing the consumer's (although I hate that word!) recovery journey with us @NorthWestResi. I wish them well on their continuing journey to wellness.
