Re: Living with PTSD (Potentially Triggering Material)

Just heard about the tragedy in Victoria and thought you might be having a really difficult time with the news also with your past tragedy in your family. I don't expect any response but wanted you to know I am very much thinking of you at this time @Former-Member

Re: Living with PTSD (Potentially Triggering Material)

Thanks so much @Zoe7 for thinking of me. I would not blame you at all, for not doing so you know. 😕

Yes when hearing of the road accident in Melbourne last night which resulted in 4 fatalities .. It certainly brought back many awful memories.

Like when young Emma died, it appears to be a freak accident. Adding to the hurt is that Emma would be turning 16yo next week had she still been alive.

And like you, I too thought of @BlueBay who has a son in the VIC police force. I pray all is okay with you  BlueBay.

@Zoe7  I have been thinking of you a lot too you know. How could I not? You are important to me. I started posting again this morning. But I have not been tagging you in posts, because I did not want to remind you of me. Giving you space if you like. Nor have I been supporting your posts, as I read that you and @Owlunar do not like that.

Please do not take any of this as a sign that I am deliberately excluding or ignoring you.  I do this only out of respect for your wishes. Just let me know if your wishes change.

Again @Zoe7  I thank you for taking the time to post to me, for caring enough to do so. Yes it is hard, I have had a sick feeling in the stomach about it all day. Coming on top of a few other things happening, I'm suffering a great deal.

I'm impressed with how youve been going with your home painting. Well done.

Everyone else .. Thank you all very much for your many posts. It warms my otherwise cold heart. I will respond to you all soon. Maybe tomorrow.

Sherry 💞

Re: Living with PTSD (Potentially Triggering Material)

Of courser I though about you with the news @Former-Member I know how incredibly hard that would have been for you and your brother to hear about - and the fact it would have been Emma's birthday next week would be making it even harder. So sorry Hon Smiley Sad

The best day of my holidays was the day I saw you back - you belong here, need the support and were very much missed - by everyone including me. I begged you to stay before because I did not want you to leave - so I am sooooo happy you are back.

Yes it does annoy me when some just support posts but it wasn't all about you as I knew you weren't posting anywhere yet - it is more about when we put a lot of effort into posting/replying to someone and they don't reply - I know there is no requirement to do so but it makes me feel that I just should not bother ...you always reply when you are up to it and sometimes it takes you that time to get your head around things.

As for tagging - that is up to you but never think I do not want to be reminded of you because you are, and always will be, important to me. Shite happens and we move on because that is what friends do 💕 Biut that has to be in your time Hon.

...and you do not have a cold heart - quite the opposite - you have one of the warmest hearts of anyone I know 💖
