Crochet seems to help you a lot, @CheerBear, and it's so wonderful that you have helped @outlander find good feelings with it too. The work you are both doing is lovely. I find knitting a balancing and mindful activity too, though I haven't done any more on my new project since I started it on Friday. I think I might try to do some of that today. The project is a knit-bomb, with trees to be wrapped in knitting, for a mental health art day that is coming up here. Really glad to have a good purpose to get me going on it again and I've never been involved in knit-bombing before, and just think it's cool!
Aside from that, I'm hoping to have a fairly chill day, hopefully with a visit to see my close friend. About the friend I thought I'd lost: we haven't made any plans to see each other more yet, but it's likely to happen over time as we are friends of a closer friend to each of us. Even if we don't end up having a full-blown friendship ever again, the karma between us is clear now and we can at least be friendly acquaintances. We talked a lot yesterday and she even gave me a little gift, which was so sweet.

I didn't remember you talking about yarn-bombing, @CheerBear. So cool that you have found another way to possibly connect with that. There was talk on Friday at the mental health centre I go to about how it is illegal. But this one is on the grounds of a hospital and only the trees there (and probably the light poles) will be yarn-bombed. So pretty safe with this one. But I tend to think that any creative project in public places in cities enhances the community's lives. I like graffiti too, much more interesting and human to look at than a blank wall.
It is very relieving to have friendly contact with my person again. I really brood over broken relationships with people, even if I don't know them that well, they haunt me. There's another one that's still haunting me, though it happened a few months ago now. I'm probably going to see her again at some point as we frequent some of the same spaces. I'm hoping we can clear the karma there too at some stage. Will be very nervous seeing her again too though!

When I used to live down south (for decades), I found the winters so hard, @CheerBear. I used to think that, if only it snowed, it would be more bearable because of the wonderment of that. Stay rugged up today. Sounds like a very good day for crochet.
Well, it's light here now, which I am taking as my cue to return to bed. Naughty me being up since about 3am when I'm trying to fix my sleep patterns. But it's been great being here, and always good chatting with you at this quiet, clear-minded time. Until next time, hugs and love your way.
