@Shaz51, I have some things in mind to do today. But I feel some kind of 'reverse psychology' has jinxed me when I've said my plans in advance over the past day or two. Haven't done what I said I would do on either day! So I think I'll keep it to myself until I've actually done it today! Twisted logic. Hope it works today.
How about yourself?

@Shaz51 I'm seeing my psychologist at 11 so I haven't planned anything else. I hear you about broken sleep - I had 7 naps overnight. It really gets frustrating. Sounds like it might be good if your mum stays in hospital a bit longer, for her and for you. Good luck for good results on your blood test.
@Mazarita I know the feeling about not achieving things we list our intentions for. I hope your plan works for today.

@Shaz51, @eth, @Mazarita - Last night I had a very wierd dream, more like a nightmare, I woke up in fright WIDE AWAKE at 1.11am and decided to get up so I wouldn't slide back into the n'mare. and I had a decaf coffee and a smoke, then went back to bed. I am so proud of myself! Usu. if I have a fully awake Dark O'clock awakening and get up it is the beginning of the end for me and I am sure to go squirrelly for days or weeks. So happy I took care of myself.
🙂 Yay.
(Oh, I can see I am a bit hiegthened I can see/feel. Self care right now important. Have been depressed for months. Phoooo. )

@Shaz51, glad to hear there is a break from work for you today. I hope you can release your mind from worry enough to relax a bit while waiting for news on what's happening with your mum.
@eth, 7 sleeps overnight is so hard. Hugs. Hope your psychologist appointment goes well today. Where are you in the EMDR therapy now? I'm interested to follow along with how that goes.
@MoonGal, sorry to hear you've been depressed for a long time. I'm coming out of a two month depression when I was sleeping 18 hours a day. Hearing you on the weird dreams, I've been having them too lately, sometimes repeated dreams with the same theme or images. Great that you went back to bed after waking last night. I've been trying to do the same on the wake-ups I'm having in the night at the moment as well. In the past I would have stayed up all night most likely. Glad we are both in the mode of taking care of ourselves at this time.
