Did you mean:

Looking after ourselves

Re: I’m leaving

This is so good to hear @BlueBay

It's not easy to stand up for oneself which makes it all the more worthwhile when we do - and you have done it and I am really pleased

Now you have done it once it will be easier to do it again -

Making such a decision was momentous but you did it - good work

Re: I’m leaving

@BlueBay Its great that you worked on your email, sent it and that it was well received.  This is huge and I can tell you wrote with clarity.  Sometimes expressing ourselves through writing can help our understanding and broader relating.  Really pleased for you as it sounds like there will be a shift in your relationship with your pdoc.  Hugs Bella

Re: I’m leaving

Hello @BlueBay

Found you still here and read through your posts..

Perhaps the whole exercise was your subconscious letting you know that you needed to stand up for yourself..

Openly expressing your feelings and experience is vital for change to happen..

What a great outcome for you..

You are moving forward in your journey for better health ...

You enabled your specialist to understand you better and take action to support you better..

Well done as others have said..

Listening to you and trusting in yourself is so powerful..

Good luck with everything..💜

Re: I’m leaving

Thankyou @Sophia1 ❤️

Re: I’m leaving

So proud of you BB @BlueBay . Keep doing what you're doing. You're awesome!!

Re: I’m leaving

This is a new start for you @BlueBay

You can take a walk and be in the forum - that's two self-soothing things to do when the trouble starts and your moods come unstuck - we will be here - and good back up when the weather is bleak and you can't take a walk

That was hard for you but you have done it now

Hi @BlueBay

You're doing great.

I don't think you realize how strong you really are because I have seen evidence of this over a few years now- and I wanted to acknowledge this.

You are very articulated in your thoughts and you express yourself very well.

Focus on what you're good at and the rest will follow. You're awesome BB

Re: I’m leaving

Hey @BlueBay it is so great to read that you were able to fully express your thoguhts and feelings with your psych and that he responded in such a positive way! Well done!

Also sounds like a good plan that you are looking at the time/frequency on here that would suit you.

I wonder if now that you have clarified and decided to stay on the forums, would you like to maybe change the subject of this thread? Or you could start another one and we can close this one for instance? Just some thoughts as it's been wonderful working through this moment with you and thought it might be nice to now reflect the outcome of your more positive space in this or another thread! ☺️

Re: I’m leaving

Thsnkyou @Lauz

I would like this thread closed.

I still have my other thread (not feeling good)   I guess I could use thst one still.

Or if I think of another name for a new thread I’ll start one.

Thsnkyou for your support and thsnks to everyone else. ❤️❤️
