Ups and Downs of Husband`s Mental Illness

Re: tomorrow goes well @Shaz-Re: Ups and Downs of Husband`s Mental Illness

very mixed day today @Former-Member, @Former-Member, @xtine, @Determined, @Faith-and-Hope, @outlander, @peppipatty , @appleblossom, @adge   Smiley Happy

I think I will need another thread for me soon

how is your day going xxHeart

ended up no work today ,Smiley Very Happy

Mr shaz started the day with a headache so when we finally got home from the specialist he had a massive headache , he went to bed and is still asleep

just had a cuppa and thinking of all the things the specialist told me

amm here goes

  • Kidney stable at 24%
  • Have Diabetes
  • Cholestrol is too high
  • have to drink 2 an a half litres of water a day
  • increase the meds I am on now
  • Have Vesicoureteral Reflux
  • arthritis / Hiatus Hernia

but apart from this , the specialist is happy but we need to get these things under control or else , so another specialist appt on the 5th july -- don`t need to see the kidney specialist for 6 months

How can we encourage you @Shaz51?

f Re: Ups and Downs of Husband`s Mental Illness

That's a lot of issues for you to have to deal with @Shaz51

I think you're amazingly resolute & positive, despite having to follow up those health issues & concerns.

How can we encourage you --- just being here for me @Adge, @Former-Member is wonderful xxHeartHeartSmiley Very Happy

My poor darling Mr shaz has had a massive headache all day -- stress out big time , had a sleep all afternoon and he is feeling much better tonight

Re: f Re: Ups and Downs of Husband`s Mental Illness

I'm glad that Mr Shaz is feeling better after a sleep @Shaz51

Daytime naps can do wonders, even with headaches.

I cannot nap at all during the day anymore, I never doze off.

So I do breathing meditations instead (lying down), & often feel much better after.

I just did one for 15 minutes, before I then had enough energy to check-in on the forums (now).

Sounds like you had a big day yesterday, and Mr Shaz too.

It must be nice to hear the specialist is happy and you both have a manageable plan of attack. Does caffeine-free herbal tea count in the water intake? I have been known to enjoy a cup of hot water too!

I hope today is calm and smooth for you both. My day yesterday was a little emotional but positive.
