@soul  not sure where you are.. but chilly here!  Was supposed to have been 9 or something last night. Not sure what it actually got down to. was 12 when I went to bed.   Definitely not ice tea weather just yet.  Will probably be later though so I'll be back for a raincheck.  🙂

Here's a funny story for you .... I had an iPad-to-face moment while I was looking for an image of an iPad-to-face moment for @Anony18 last night .... lol .... 😳:face_with_rolling_eyes:😆

S2 asked me to kick him outa bed and drop him at uni this morning,  He needs help to get himself back together, and hasn't been good at asking for it, so this is good.  Walking 20mins to the bus and taking the time to get there (looks like rain today) is all I the too-hard basket while he is so emotionally fatigued and everything else in his life has slid into chaos .... have been looking for signs that he is starting to pull it back together .... and he needs to while Big-Chief-Run-Your-Life-For-You is away.  Best way to keep him out of your path is to have a big enough handle on your own affairs that he doesn't panic and try to take over you.p

C'mon S2 .... get up on your horse lad ❣

How long till you're on the road @Former-Member ..... very conscious of your up-coming trip and all it means .... will have an eye on your other thread for your news updates .... 🌷💕

@Shaz51 .... cyclone due to land tomorrow now huh ?  Is it warm and muggy or starting to cool down around you there ?  @soul .... I spent many years in the outback .... like a fish on a bicycle .... lol .... my fair skin is not designed for those regions of Aus .... enjoy the iced coffee, and I reckon the second one might be for @Shaz51

Morning @Faith-and-Hope.  Rain for you today?  I think you need some over in WA dont you?  My husbands family are all in Perth and surrounds, and I think they are all hanging out for rain.  Oh poor S2! You really do have your hands full dont you?  

You asked when I leave home for my week away with family.  I am hitting the road around 7am on Wednesday.  But busy today getting hubby ready for his overseas trip with his navy buddies.  I need to have him at the little country airport tomorrow by 5.45am, bound for Sydney and then beyond.  I should have a chance to spend a bit of time on the Forums during Tuesday, but wont have access to internet for the week that I am away.  No smart phones for me!

Nix on the rain here @Former-Member .... has opened up to full sunshine ....

West coast is much drier than east coast.

Nix on getting S2 to uni as well .... he is focussed on completing an overdue assignment first, which takes out this morning's class.  Gotta leave him to it after discussing it with him a bit.  He needs his own autonomy and has decided that if he fails units he will do them again, and can live with that as long as he completes the course over all.

Will be thinking of you on Wednesday and beyond.  Will answer on your other thread a bit later.  Heading out for a walk shortly.

@soul .... grass sounds too lush to be outback per se .... but guessing you're somewhere northern with all that humidity.  It's full sunshine here today, but only expecting a top of 21 ..... I can live with that .... lol ....

@Former-Member - heard French toast!!!! I just had cereal as we ran out of bread. Froot loops do not healthy. 

I am just about leave home to head to client. Woke up took my time and did bit work in pjs. Now get ready to head out. Brrr it's chilly. On another note getting bit worried. My partner still hasn't responded but the worrying thing is all his social media texting apps hasn't been active. I sent him a message yesterday evening and it's sent but not delivered meaning his phone is off. I really hope he is ok and things are ok at home. But I will be persistently reaching out. Oh he is a worry sometimes....most times given how impromptu he is 😐

the appointment with the specialist went good , all the blood test came back ok ,except for one which he has very high Cholesterol

He wants to stop the meds , he has tried reducing the meds  but soon finds out he can not cope without them

the specialist said he needs to take a long time to go off them , he has been on them for a year and a half

wondering how I can help him to go off them when he wants too

No rain today -- It was 35 degrees here, sooo hot and still like the cyclone was sucking all the air away , so tomorrow should be raining and windy but on the edge of the cyclone
