bit on edge

Been awake all night, cant sleep,my mind wont close down. Been on the computer for hours, trying to close down the unwanted turmoil in my head. Trying to head off an annoying episode    . Think it might be another SADs encounter ,the weather has been so bitterly cold. Last couple of mornings waking with a low level depression,an early warning sign.    If we get some sun today I will spend as much time as I can catching as many rays as I can.

Re: bit on edge

Hi

understand the feeling. My mood has dropped after a slight fiddle with my meds, winter, hormones and who knows what. So I’m on edge too. Waiting for equilibrium. It’s not much to expect. I’m not aiming for happy. Just not depressed. I hope your day is better.

Re: bit on edge

Hi @jay2,

It sure can be hard to stay well through the winter time. Catching some rays sounds like a very good idea. Let us know how you go!

Re: bit on edge

,,,Keeping my head above weather by spending 1 hour a day soaking up the
sunshine, weather permitting. Find an added plus by wearing a beanie to
bed. Know I have a low level depression but can live with it,it makes
itself known when I get visitors because I keep wishing they would go home.
Only feel like that when I am feeling low. *But I keep the conversation
going because I know I need then to continue to visit me they keep me in
touch with the real world and keep me grounded. I also have a new kitten,
cuddling her is a great comfort to me. Thank you for asking. jay2*

Re: bit on edge

Hi @jay2 how are you going now?

Re: bit on edge

Hi outlander, I'm doing well .My kitten and I frolic for 1 hour in the sunshine every day and I'm shinning.  Light is also a benefit, alters the cirrcadian pattern, I sleep much better because of it.

Re: bit on edge

Thats really great to hear @jay2
