I just guess we are all different, and sometimes, it's nice to be accepted as we are.
Recently, I heard that autistic people get along well with people with BPD and vice versa. I wonder if this is true @Blackcloud@8KZTL7@Dreamy @Former-Member
@tyme could very well be true. From experiences here on the forums I've found that I get along with people that have a range of different diagnoses. I have BPD myself and undiagnosed autism. I think being neurodivergant we are very accepting of pretty much everyone.
@Blackcloud It seems I am always learning about communication and being social. I am prepared to adapt a lot, but recently learning to stand my ground and set boundaries and have fun. There is no one right way. That had me addled and confused. I found practising being social on Sane from 10 years ago has really helped me.
@tyme I found it easier when I realised we all worry about how we are coming across, and the other person is often just as nervous as I am, well that's what I tell myself anyway.
It's certainly and interesting one @Dreamy@Blackcloud . And I'd never heard it until someone mentioned it.
I guess it's like what I said in the past that people with BPD are often drawn to professions where they 'help' people... so many BPDers are drawn to people to are autistic too? IDK.
