Re: Battles

Oh, I really hope you get some proper rest tonight, lovely.

Sending big hugs and tissue boxes your way!! @Shaz51

Re: Battles

I understand why this would be so scary and exhausting... does it help when I ask open questions for you to reflect on what you can do, or is more helpful if I just listen and let you know I am here? @Dreamy

That's fair! Did you ever drink Ovaltine?

Oh yes, I remember you saying this. Gosh, that's always the worst feeling... I can imagine having a safe space next time will help a lot. Is there a way you can make sure you're alone?

I get that. If it helps, no one talks and everyone has their camera off in the webinars. 🫶

That's so sweet! I am really glad they helped you to connect to something that feels good for you.

Re: Battles

@AuntGlow sorry but I'm going to tap out for the night. I'm safe just feeling overwhelmed and struggling to communicate.

Re: Battles

@AuntGlow I'm sorry I couldn't respond last night. Things got too much for me and i needed to step back.

It both helps to have those questions and also to know that you are there to listen.

I've never had the ovaltine drink but I used to eat the little lollies when I was in school.

It was a last minute thing and that's why I wasn't alone and despite me trying to go to my room or another part of the house, I was just constantly followed and not given privacy.

Re: Battles

That's so okay @Dreamy 💖

I completely understand and I am glad you listened to your body last night.

Okay, we can do both.

What are you doing for yourself today?

Re: Battles

@AuntGlow all I've been doing for a while now is laying on my lounge with Casper. I have got no motivation to do anything.

Re: Battles

That's okay, @Dreamy.

It sounds like that is what your body might be needing right now? Some surrender. 🥰

Re: Battles

@AuntGlow maybe so. But I feel lazy and like I'm just letting the thoughts win.

Re: Battles

@AuntGlow firstly know that I'm safe.

I'm feeling really hurt at the moment. I worked up the courage to reach out to a service and talked about how I was feeling and the thoughts I've been having. They asked what's stopping me from acting on the thoughts and my response was nothing really. Then they said then why bother reaching out if there's nothing, how do you expect me to help. It wasn't a matter of expecting them to help, it was a matter of being heard, of not feeling alone.
