Thankful!

I know for myself that it's often easy to focus on the negative and the struggle because it can be simply all consuming.
But today I simply want to acknowledge and show my appreciation for the support services that are available and the staff that are both compassionate and dedicated. Thank you!!!
My husband recently had a change of medication which can be a scarey time with the uncertainty of possible side affects. If the truth be told I was probably more worried about it than he was. However he was offered a spot in the Preventative and Recovery Care program. He was able to get the care he needed and I didn't need to worry about him being at home alone. The support provided by the psychiatrist, clinical staff and the support works who worked together has made a world of difference. He's home now and all is looking positive at this stage, due to the care he received and support he received. Thank you.😊

Re: Thankful!

Hi @Mrscaptargo welcome to the Forums and thank you for posting 🙂

It's lovely to hear your gratitude come through in this post. Taking on an 'attitude of gratitude' is such a healing balm for when anxiety and stress is taking over. As you say, it is so easy to focus on the negatives. The PARC facilities can be such a helpful bridge for people after a relapse and/or when they're trying to settle into a new medication. It certainly can help as well to take the pressure of the family. I am glad to hear he had a good experience. If you don't mind me asking what is your husband's diagnosis? How long have you been caring for him?
